About the role

Our People & Culture Team is expanding, and we're on the lookout for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) to join us. In this role, you will support the People & Culture Manager in implementing our strategy across the organisation to address departmental needs. You’ll partner with leaders to deliver a wide range of people services and offer expert Industrial Relations advice.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a proven track record of building and maintaining trusted relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Managing end-to-end employee relations/industrial relations matters, including undertaking workplace investigations, performance management, disciplinary procedures and attendance at the Fair Work Commission if required.
  • Provide guidance on change management, remuneration, retention, and engagement.
  • Oversee the Employee Life Cycle, offering advice on industrial and employee relations matters.
  • Enhance the People & Culture operating framework.
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive talent strategies and participate in recruitment as needed.
  • Offer operational advice and support to build leadership capability.
  • Maintain HR policies/procedures in line with best practices and legislation, ensuring proper training for employees.
  • Promote a culture of engagement and inspiration through collaboration with the People Team.
  • Contribute to strategic People & Culture projects and departmental initiatives.


Who are we looking for?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, highly desirable.
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role, NFP experience will be highly regarded.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment legislation, regulations, Awards, and Industrial Agreements.
  • Expert knowledge of Australia Employment Law.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to interpret information and provide recommendations.
